“A History of Laughter”

Matt lived in Washington, D.C. from 2009-2020, during which time he led more than 200 tours of the National Mall and surrounding neighborhoods. In 2019, he took his mastery of obscure nonsense and spun it into “A History of Laughter,” a comedic walking tour of Pennsylvania Avenue. Produced in partnership with the Capital Fringe Festival, the one-man show received rave reviews and was recommended by the Washington Post and the DCist. No recording of the show exists, so it will live on only in the hearts of those who saw it live.
